About Sarey

Job Summary

The ITN Office will be generally responsible for distribution, record keeping and stock management of LLINs.

Duties & Responsibilities

At field level:
• Coordinate field assessment with PFP to identify number of villages and HHs at districts
• Coordinate HHs inventory with CHWs, health facilities and other relevant staff
• Verify the HHs lists with village/district leaders and delegations
• Ensure accuracies of HHs registration at village levels.
• Distribute vouchers to the households.
• Stipulate and share space to/with HHs for LLINs distribution
• LLINs distribution to voucher holders.

Supply:
• Support PFP for monthly supply plan of LLINs at villages/districts.
• Coordinate LLINs supply with supply officers.
• Supply and ensure availability of reporting tools (vouchers, report format, register book etc.) at relevant sites.
• Ensure the availability of plastic bags and other items needed for LLINs distribution

Training:
• Identify gaps and provide support to PFP during training sessions provided to vouchers/LLINs distributors.
• Provide on the job training on relevant issues to the distributors as required.
• Attend training and workshops requested by the management.

Supervision/monitoring:

• Ensure proper distribution, documentation and reporting of LLINs at relevant sites.
• Provide monthly plan for supervision and monitoring
• Randomly verify LLINs distribution against provided list at each village
• Monitor the LLINs distribution in the field
• Coordinate supervision/monitoring plan with PFP to prevent duplication.
• Provide monitoring report by using monitoring checklist.
• Provide supervision/monitoring feedback to PFP and Provincial Director.

Other management issues:

• Provide monthly activity plan
• Provide monthly activity report to the PFP.
• Attend staff and other related meetings as required.
• Identify the LLINs related needs and submission of on time orders and their follow up.
• Provide support to PFP for proper documentation of relevant activities.
• Collect reports, vouchers and HHs register/lists and on timely submit it to PFP.

Others:
• Good communication, analytical, inter personnel and follow up skills
• Hard working and flexible mentality
• Be respectful and proper attitude
• Graduated from a recognized faculty and two years relevant experience.

Job Requirements

• Afghan National
• High school graduate or diploma in Human Resource Management (HRM)
• At least three years experience in office administration with an international NGO
• To be fluent in writing and speaking Pashto, Dari and English languages.
• To have knowledge of computer programmes (Ms Word and Ms Excel)
• Work in the team and to be flexible, having positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure
