About Afghanistan Center for Training and Development - ACTD:
The ITN Office will be generally responsible for distribution, record keeping and stock management of LLINs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
At field level:
â€¢ Coordinate field assessment with PFP to identify number of villages and HHs at districts
â€¢ Coordinate HHs inventory with CHWs, health facilities and other relevant staff
â€¢ Verify the HHs lists with village/district leaders and delegations
â€¢ Ensure accuracies of HHs registration at village levels.
â€¢ Distribute vouchers to the households.
â€¢ Stipulate and share space to/with HHs for LLINs distribution
â€¢ LLINs distribution to voucher holders.
â€¢ Support PFP for monthly supply plan of LLINs at villages/districts.
â€¢ Coordinate LLINs supply with supply officers.
â€¢ Supply and ensure availability of reporting tools (vouchers, report format, register book etc.) at relevant sites.
â€¢ Ensure the availability of plastic bags and other items needed for LLINs distribution
â€¢ Identify gaps and provide support to PFP during training sessions provided to vouchers/LLINs distributors.
â€¢ Provide on the job training on relevant issues to the distributors as required.
â€¢ Attend training and workshops requested by the management.
â€¢ Ensure proper distribution, documentation and reporting of LLINs at relevant sites.
â€¢ Provide monthly plan for supervision and monitoring
â€¢ Randomly verify LLINs distribution against provided list at each village
â€¢ Monitor the LLINs distribution in the field
â€¢ Coordinate supervision/monitoring plan with PFP to prevent duplication.
â€¢ Provide monitoring report by using monitoring checklist.
â€¢ Provide supervision/monitoring feedback to PFP and Provincial Director.
Other management issues:
â€¢ Provide monthly activity plan
â€¢ Provide monthly activity report to the PFP.
â€¢ Attend staff and other related meetings as required.
â€¢ Identify the LLINs related needs and submission of on time orders and their follow up.
â€¢ Provide support to PFP for proper documentation of relevant activities.
â€¢ Collect reports, vouchers and HHs register/lists and on timely submit it to PFP.
â€¢ Good communication, analytical, inter personnel and follow up skills
â€¢ Hard working and flexible mentality
â€¢ Be respectful and proper attitude
â€¢ Graduated from a recognized faculty and two years relevant experience.
â€¢ Afghan National
â€¢ High school graduate or diploma in Human Resource Management (HRM)
â€¢ At least three years experience in office administration with an international NGO
â€¢ To be fluent in writing and speaking Pashto, Dari and English languages.
â€¢ To have knowledge of computer programmes (Ms Word and Ms Excel)
â€¢ Work in the team and to be flexible, having positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure
