Job Summary:

Under the supervision of Senior Finance Specialist the Junior Accountant will assist KMDP’s Accountants to perform the Financial Tasks. He/she will work with Finance team to collect all data from MoF and Da Afghanistan Bank to perform required process for replenishment application and analyze it for reporting purpose, also all transactions regarding the IOC should be recorded in computerized system, He/She should also prepare fixed asset registration.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The duties & responsibilities of the rodman shall comprise (but not necessarily be limited to the following items).

1) Preparing the allotments according to the B3 form of budget segmentation into deferent codes, of the updated CoA developed by the MoF, with coordination of KMDP accountants and Senior Finance Specialist.

2) Reviewing the received invoices of all contractors for the tax and other deductions, ,

3) Preparing the M16 forms for the above received invoices, and insuring the required attachments for them, and correct coding according to the CoA designed and developed by MoF, with coordination of KMDP accountants and Senior Finance Specialist,

4) Assisting the Senior Finance Specialist in quarterly Interim Un-audited Financial Report (IUFR) for the donor, and the withdrawal application as well as the direct payments submissions by collecting and organizing the data,

5) Retaining and enhancing the reconciled records of all expenditures, allotments, petty cash, as well as the other incomes, and report to the Senior Finance Specialist.

6) Working on staff payroll system, with coordination of KMDP’s Senior Finance Specialist

7) Reconciliation between internal entry book records with the designated account statements in Da Afghanistan Bank, as well as with client connection records of the World Bank in monthly basis, with coordination of KMDP’s Senior Finance Specialist.

8) Knowledge of the Govt. Developing budget system.

9) Reporting to Senior Finance Specialist on monthly bases or any time required.


10) The Consultant shall also submit inception report including work plan, within two weeks of joining. The Consultant shall submit a report before 5th of every month detailing the activities carried out with reference to the work plan.

Job Requirement:

Must to be Afghan National
Bachelor Degree in field of business administration or economics
At least Two years’ relevant experience in the field of finance, accounting or budgeting
To be fluent in writing and speaking Pashto, Dari and English languages
To have knowledge of computer (MS office and some of accounting software’s)
