Job Summary:

The Junior Project Manger will actively support the work of the CEO and Business Development Director in gaining contracts from a wide variety of contractors. This will take the form of sourcing quotes for contracts, making links with Afghan firms that provide services, and leading on procurement of products to meet our existing and new contract requirements and any other jobs as required.

This role would suit a recent graduate in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration with excellent English, Dari and Pashto language skills, and MS Office competence, who is looking for their first role in the logistics and construction sectors. A capacity to learn quickly allied to a commitment to undertaking training and developing skills are the most important factors in undertaking this role. There is a strong possibility of extending the contract beyond the initial five month probation period with excellent opportunities for fast promotion within the business that will allow the successful candidate to build on the initial monthly salary.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Collect quotes from suppliers around Kabul, Afghanistan and internationally.

Develop customer relations with suppliers of construction materials and logistical supplies.

Support the production of proposals and quotes for clients.

Support the Business Development Director in preparing for meetings and business events.

Perform other tasks as required by CEO and Business Development Director.

Job Requirement:

Excellent English, Dari and Pashto Language Skills.

Recent graduate in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.

Knowledge and experience with MS Office.

Understanding of logistics and construction sectors.

Enthusiasm and willingness to learn international approaches to business.
