The Leadership Trainer is responsible for working along-side other expat and Afghan trainers to deliver high-quality leadership training to Afghan women at the Silk Road Solutions (SRS) office and at other various training locations throughout Kabul. This position is intended for an Afghan woman who is deeply dedicated to furthering the progress of other Afghan women through a process of exploration, dialogue, and creative problem-solving. This requires one who is committed to always learning, and who is flexible enough to work with a diverse group of people, as well as someone who will take initiative on their own.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include: helping develop training curriculum; helping prepare training materials; researching related training topics and gathering information; participating in networking and marketing efforts as needed; dialoguing and problem-solving with other trainers; coaching (mentoring) small groups of Afghan women; receiving instruction from other trainers on supportive growing and learning tools; and speaking in front of groups of people. Trainers will have the opportunity to develop relationship with the participants inside and outside of the training room. Other responsibilities as identified.
Experienced Trainers with a bachelorâ€™s degree and with a high English fluency are needed. Experience in training and/or gender-related areas are highly valued.
