Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Doctors Without Borders) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion, and natural or man-made disasters to populations in danger in more than 70 countries.
Assist in the coordination and implementation of all activities and tools related to staff development: induction, evaluation, and training.
- Follow-up on the internal and external trainings (application forms, organizational support, attendance lists, follow-up after the training, evaluations, centralization of training materials)
- Assess local training institutions and establish relationships with these institutions
- Support the organization and implementation of the Sanou Training
- Facilitate and deliver the management workshops for supervisors and any other relevant trainings/workshops
- Coach and support supervisors with the implementation of all L&D tools and policies
- Ensure follow-up on the implementation of L&D tools and policies (where relevant) and acts as a helpdesk in case of questions or support needed
- Responsible for the ongoing updating the training library
- Responsible for the ongoing update of the L&D online tool (Dashboard )
- Assist with translation when requested
- Acts as a sounding board for national staff, addresses their concerns, and advise the L&D department on how to solve them
- Brief new staff about MSF (history, activities, charter) and their new position
- Give regular feedback to the line manager and report directly any issue or incident
- In order to ensure the coverage of the human resources needs and maintain high standards of quality, organize and coordinate the activities of the team supervised (week’s schedule, annual leave, absences, etc.), communicate with the HR Admin department all relevant information in due time, evaluate performance, define and ensure the needs for training
- Perform hands-on tasks as part of the team whenever required or needed in order to optimize the resources and to contribute with his/her knowledge and experience
- Participate in monthly reports according to guidelines
- University degree is essential (ideally in Administration)
- Proficient user of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) essential
Experience
- Other experience in similar positions is desirable
- MSF experience is desirable
Languages
- Dari/Pashtu: oral and written essential
- English: oral and written essential
WORKING HOURS
Working hours: Full Time 40 hours a week: 5 days a week
Salary: will be paid according to the MSF salary grid
