About Coordination of Rehabilitation and Development Services for Afghanistan:
Coordination of Rehabilitation and Development Services for Afghanistan (CRDSA) is a non-governmental and non-political humanitarian organization working in sectors of health, education, community development, infrastructure and agriculture in Afghanistan. CRDSA was established in 2002 and presently is operating in Herat, Farah and Badghis provinces. CRDSA needs a Training Officer who conduct trainings to the targeted CSOs of Farah and Badghis Provinces, follow up all the trainings of CRDSA staff to cascade for other staff, update supervise and assist the other project trainers of CRDSA in curriculum development and training materials.

Duties & Responsibilities:
1- Preparation of Awareness Materials for the implementation of the project activities.
2- Conduct Awareness Raising sessions for the local Shoras.
3- Facilitate the conduction of legal workshops/trainings for judiciary departments’ staff.
4- Conduct regular meetings between traditional villages’ leaders from target communities.
5- Develop training materials reflecting stronger understanding overlap between Islamic law, Afghan law, traditional rights and the rights of women and children.
6- Strive to improve confidence between formal judiciary system and informal traditional system.
7- Strive to improve legal knowledge of informal judiciary leaders/personnel.
8- Maintain good liaison with government judiciary departments and informal justice system.
9- Facilitate Issue-based discussion sessions between actor of formal and informal justice systems around legal structures, human rights, gender issues, space of community groups and civil society in justice delivery system.
10- Establish 90 community based human rights committees.
11- Conduct capacity building trainings for local Shora members and human rights defenders.
12- Prepare public awareness raising campaign materials.
13- Participate exposure meetings to the staff of formal and informal judiciary departments.
14- Assist the organization in carrying out project activities in legal manner.

A bachelor’s degree in law/Sharia
Minimum 3 years of working background in similar field with national and/or international NGOs.
