The CTG requires a qualified and dynamic Liaison and Administration Support Officer who will support the CTG team based at the CTG Kabul Country office. This position is a role that is one of the many key positions in support of our growing United Nations program support team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of one of our CTG Portfolio Programme Managers, and overall Management of the Country Director, the incumbent will act as point of liaison between CTG Afghanistan and one of our many UN programs. He/she will efficiently manage a growing portfolio of personnel contracted by CTG Afghanistan in support of ensuring customer driven services.
Specific responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
â€¢ Staff mobilisation: assist in the recruitment of qualified staff on behalf of CTG Clients through launching vacancy announcements, collect and pre-select CVs, assist in the short-listing of CVs, coordinate interviews, coordinate offer letters and contracts as advised by our clients Officers and in coordination with the CTG Portfolio Programme Manager.
â€¢ Personnel portfolio management: organise and regularly update electronic personnel files, maintain staff records, and provide such up-to-date documentation to the CTG data base and filing system as required.
â€¢ Payroll management: process routine personnel forms, such as timesheets, leave requests, expense claim forms, and ensure the timely submission of complete documentation to CTG Portfolio Programme and Finance/Administration Managers.
â€¢ Communication: coordinate and act as focal point for issues related to human resources management, including recruitment, leave requests, advance payments and other issues. Coordinate the provision of all administrative, personnel and financial support required by your allocated clients and CTG Afghanistan.
â€¢ Team work: facilitate communication and information or experience sharing with CTG and client representatives colleagues; contribute to a friendly and productive work environment.
â€¢ Undertake other duties as requested by the CTG Portfolio Programme Manager and Client representative Officers.
The successful candidate will be able to work results-driven and where required without direct supervision. He/She will exhibit organisational skills, attention to detail, personal commitment, efficiency, flexibility, and problem-solving skills. Further desired qualifications are as follows:
Education: Minimum University Degree (Bachelors) in a related field preferred.
Languages: Dari: native speaker, Pashto: fluency, English: advanced oral communication and excellent writing skills.
Computer: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Internet
Professional: Minimum 2 years experience providing administrative support to an Afghan or international companies; demonstrated experience liaising and communicating effectively with Afghan and international colleagues and clients; previous experience using English as a working language essential (e.g. drafting emails to clients). Experience working in HR administration will be advantageous but is not essential.

CTG Afghanistan will issue a twelve-month contract (3 month probation period) with the possibility of extension upon mutual agreement between CTG Afghanistan, and the incumbent in writing.
