Job Summary

The Loan Officer is responsible for managing the revolving loan distribution to the targeted communities. He/She should develop and update the loan database to ensure each and every activity related to loan disbursement is properly recorded and prepare regular reports accordingly. He/She develops appropriate measures to ensure timely loan repayment by community members as well as conduct relevant training to the community members for proper management of revolving loan.

Duties & Responsibilities

•Act according to the policy and regulation of SCA.
•Develop loan database and timely updating.
•Assist livelihood senior officer in identifying relevant families for loan distribution.
•To ensure that all loan related forms are filled and completed correctly by the targeted communities with special attention on accurate understanding of targeted families. .
•To take active part in loan distribution process.
•To assist targeted families in effective management of revolving fund till loan maturity date as well regular monitoring.
•To collect the loan from targeted families by the loan maturity date and develop appropriate measures to ensure timely loan repayment.
•To conduct trainings for community members for effective loan management.
•Do related job as delegated by the livelihood Senior Officer.
•To assist the Administrator in preparations for training at the Training Centres

Job Requirements

•University graduated in a relevant field or equal work experience.
•Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in small businesses with recognized NGOS..
•Documented experience in micro finance activities.
•Fluent in Dari, Pashto, Written and Spoken.
•Good computer skills (MS Office package), database expertise is an advantage.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
•Honest, active, innovative and well mannered.
•To be familiar the cultural, socio-economic and political environment of Kunduz Province.
•Being an Afghan citizen.
