• She/ he will serve as deputy to the Manager (Livelihoods)
• She/he will guide and support conduct of training and development of manuals
• She/he will translate the information related to the livelihood security implementation
• She/he will also visit all the project area in Afghanistan make the necessary documentations and conduct trainings to shift the need based approach to right based approach using livelihood security policy paper as base
• She/ he will assist the program staff in preparing the training programs for effective implementation of activities
• She/he will develop publicity and public relation materials
The Livelihood Trainer responsibilities include:
• She/ he will serve as deputy to the Manager (Livelihoods)
• She/he will guide and support conduct of training and development of manuals
• She/he will translate the information related to the livelihood security implementation
• She/he will also visit all the project area in Afghanistan make the necessary documentations and conduct trainings to shift the need based approach to right based approach using livelihood security policy paper as base
• She/ he will assist the program staff in preparing the training programs for effective implementation of activities
• She/he will develop publicity and public relation materials
• She /he co-ordinate the activities of livelihoods of various NGOs working in Afghanistan and develop a common forum for livelihood Network
• She/he will support the process of sharing the long term livelihood security strategy of Afghanistan with donors and Afghanistan government
• She/he will initiate, guide, set up and run of livelihood resources and training centre in Kabul and in other bases
• She/he will support and guide the Administration, HR, Logistics and Finance staff in dovetailing the livelihood implementation
• She/he will arrange to bring out Livelihood News letter and manage it as Editor
• She / he will support the livelihood resource centers at the bases and initiate and operate knowledge management process
• Any other matter of importance as assigned by National Livelihood Co-ordinator. Deputy Country Director or the country director
Qualified candidates must have:
• Afghan National
• Graduate from recognised university and Post graduate or Masters is preferred
• At least 2/3 years working experience in a development projects in Afghanistan
• Experience in Training is a preferred qualification
• Should have good experience and expertise in translation
• Prior working experience in livelihood development activities is an asset
• Fluency in English speaking is required.
• Decent computer skill (MS word, excel and Power point)
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Strong leadership abilities
• Proficient in written and oral communication skills in Dari.
• Willing to travel in various parts of Afghanistan
