Duties & Responsibilities:
Program, Finance and Security Units â€“ to ensure that appropriate support is consistently extended in a timely manner; Finance â€“ to ensure compliance with all pertinent policies, procedures and guidelines; Security â€“ to ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols;
Related Ministries and Provincial Government Officers and Banks â€“ for coordinating support such as but not limited to facilitating visas/work permits, obtaining necessary office registrations and vehicle registrations, Banking, Payment of tax and submission of tax returns.
The position holder manages all aspects of processing visa applications, work permits of international staff and official visitors, coordination with concerned government ministries as well as other offices relevant to necessary registrations and extensions, assist in all procurements, assist finance in performing day-to-day banking, submission of tax returns.
â€¢Secure all work permits, visa and other travel-related requirements for international staff and ensure they are kept updated.
â€¢Process all registration requirements for offices and vehicles and ensure they are kept updated.
â€¢Assist program procurement by clearing goods from custom, collecting quotations and coordinating transportation support requirements.
â€¢Liaise with banks on day-to-day banking-related transactions.
â€¢Submission and filing of tax returns with relevant authorities.
â€¢Liaise with government and non-government offices in connection with the discharge of operations-related tasks.
â€¢Performs other reasonable tasks that may be assigned by Supervisors.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
â€¢Diploma in Business Administration or with equivalent experience of at least 3 years
â€¢Good written and spoken English, Dari and/or Pashto
â€¢Knowledge and experience in working with government ministries and other offices
â€¢Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
â€¢Ability to work well under unstable security environments, and administrative and programmatic pressures
â€¢Willingness to understand and accept ChildFundâ€™s child protection and other policies
