Job Summary:

In this context, MSF is recruiting Logistic Supervisor for a post.

Duties & Responsibilities:

OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION
- Support the line manager in the day to day coordination and management of the logistics team
- Organize and lead team meetings, attend logistics meetings and accounting for his activities
- Ensure the vehicle fleet and movements’ management including planning and follow up of the day to day movements
- Ensure the smooth running of all aspects of MSF facilities including security rules management/implementation monthly maintenance of premises and equipment; regular inspection of the guesthouses
- Support in the follow up of the timeline of activities for all technical matters in collaboration with the line manager
- Responsible for the monthly supply of logistics items (water, gas, fuel, cleaning products), the monthly consumption analysis and the management of the stock in collaboration with the Supply team
- Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of MSF facilities including fire-fighting equipment availability and regular review in collaboration with the Head of Watchmen (if any)
- Planning together with the line manager the required checks and maintenance activities according to MSF standards
- Ensure the training of new MSF staff on logistics procedures, use of telecommunication equipment and security rules
- Give regular feedback to the line manager and report directly any issue or incident

Job Requirement:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES
- High school diploma (12th class), essential
- University degree, desirable
- Technical diploma, essential
- Proficient user of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), essential
- Two years’ experience in similar position, essential
- MSF experience, desirable
- English/Dari/Pashtu: oral and written, essential
- FULL TIME: 40 hours per week, Saturday to Wednesday
