Job Summary:

PURPOSE:
The Logistics Assistant (Inventory) will assist in clerical duties in the ASI office in compliance with DAI policy and procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The Inventory Clerk will perform the following functions but not limited to:
• Support Deputy Operations Manager in operations and clerical services for the ASI team;
• Support Deputy Operations Manager with daily operational tracking systems;
• Support Procurement Manager in inventory database maintenance;
• Coordinate with Regional Grants Team for inventory of equipment procured under grants.
• Support with physical inventory check;
• Provide regular update to TAMIS inventory database for operations and grants;
• Prepare draft semi-annual inventory report for client;
• Support Operations Team with TAMIS sections regular updates;
• Carry out other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Operations Manager/Deputy Operations Manager.

Job Requirement:

EDUCATION
• Secondary school education or higher required.

WORK EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 3 years experience in an equivalent position. Experience working in a similar position for an NGO or an international organization is preferred. Must also have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment. In addition, must be flexible, willing to perform other duties and work irregular hours.
