Job Summary:
The Logistics Clerk under the direct supervision of the AMAC Admin/Finance Assistant and general direction from Area Manager is responsible for the following assigned tasks:
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Update and maintain Area Mine Action Center (AMAC) and MACCA stores inventories electronically and in hard copy on a daily basis.
• Process receipt, issue, stores requests and discrepancy report documentation in a timely manner, and enter records into the logistics database.
• Record and maintain hard copy of stores documents in accordance with the above.
• Prepare and provide information regarding inventory at any given notice.
• Assist with maintaining inventory of MACCA.
• Conduct quarterly monitoring and verification (stock checks) of inventories and provide update reports to MACCA Log section.
• Maintain Stores records accurately.
• Monitor inter-regional stores movements.
• Prepare, advise and submit the Loss and Damage report for lost or damaged equipment.
• Request and prepare quotes for available Local Purchase items.
• Reconcile simple Petty Cash expenditures on stores items.
• Suggest improvements for rationalizing and streamlining Log issues at regional office
• Maintain a Stationery and Expendables Store with up to date records.
• Assist with the preparation of documents to justify requirements for Goods, Works and Services.
• Assist with preparation of information for regional and procurement budgets.
• Assist with Admin/Finance/Log issues in the absence of other AFL staff.
• Attend logistics and operations meetings as requested.
• Perform any other tasks as required.
Job Requirement:
• Secondary Diploma or relevant certificate.
• 2-3 years of practical experience in the field.
• Fluent in English, Pashto/Dari (written and oral).
• Good knowledge of (MS Access, Word, and Excel)
• Good typing skills.
• Experience with a De-mining NGO an asset.
• Able to work under pressure, and irregular hours
• Willingness to travel to regional areas as required.
