The Logistics Clerk under the direct supervision of the AMAC Admin/Finance Assistant and general direction from Area Manager is responsible for the following assigned tasks:
Duties & Responsibilities:
â€¢ Update and maintain Area Mine Action Center (AMAC) and MACCA stores inventories electronically and in hard copy on a daily basis.
â€¢ Process receipt, issue, stores requests and discrepancy report documentation in a timely manner, and enter records into the logistics database.
â€¢ Record and maintain hard copy of stores documents in accordance with the above.
â€¢ Prepare and provide information regarding inventory at any given notice.
â€¢ Assist with maintaining inventory of MACCA.
â€¢ Conduct quarterly monitoring and verification (stock checks) of inventories and provide update reports to MACCA Log section.
â€¢ Maintain Stores records accurately.
â€¢ Monitor inter-regional stores movements.
â€¢ Prepare advice and submit the Loss and Damage report for lost or damaged equipment.
â€¢ Request and prepare quotes for available Local Purchase items.
â€¢ Reconcile simple Petty Cash expenditures on stores items.
â€¢ Suggest improvements for rationalizing and streamlining Log issues at regional office
â€¢ Maintain a Stationery and Expendables Store with up to date records.
â€¢ Assist with the preparation of documents to justify requirements for Goods, Works and Services.
â€¢ Assist with preparation of information for regional and procurement budgets.
â€¢ Assist with Admin/Finance/Log issues in the absence of other AFL staff.
â€¢ Attend logistics and operations meetings as requested.
â€¢ Perform any other tasks as required.
â€¢ Secondary Diploma or relevant certificate.
â€¢ 2-3 years of practical experience in the field.
â€¢ Fluent in English, Pashto/Dari (written and oral).
â€¢ Good knowledge of (MS Access, Word, and Excel)
â€¢ Good typing skills.
â€¢ Experience with a De-mining NGO an asset.
â€¢ Able to work under pressure, and irregular hours
â€¢ Willingness to travel to regional areas as required.
