Job Summary:

The Procurement Officer is responsible for, logistics operations including procurement, warehousing, and maintenance management.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Knowledge on food quality and standards for international client.
• Use of procurement paperwork including Purchase Request, Request for Quotations, Purchase Order, and Payment Request.
• Knowledge on maintenance spare parts for international client.
• Must have demonstrated understanding of procurement ethics.
• must be able to work independently and prioritize, show initiative; experience in an Organization setting
• Report writing; ability to make recommendations for improvement; strong
• Ensure procurement ceilings and approval procedures are utilized appropriately.
• Ensure procurement files are maintained in a orderly and up-to-date system
• Liaise with local suppliers and services providers
• Ensure that procurement activities are in compliance with legal codes and AFGS standards.

Job Requirement:

• A bachelors Degree in the related field with 2 years of relevant experience in the field of procurement
• computer (MS Office) ), filing, and organizational skills;
• Excellent spoken and written English.
