( Ministry of Agriculture) AAIP Project, Multi Location
The M & E Officer will be responsible for the Implementation of M&E activities of AAIP.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the management of the AAIP M&E databases, compilation of monthly, quarterly or semi – annual reporting, analysis of raw data and oversight of data quality checking in the respective Directorates. S/he is also responsible for the implementation of the project M&E plan and design of related monitoring tools
Ensure capturing data for assessing physical progress;
Collection of all M&E data in time for AAIP;
Enhance and maintain the data entry in the database as required by project;
Assist to review the results of all surveys conducted by the consultants;
Assist in analyzing survey data and produce reports for AAIP PMU;
Collect, in cooperation with the other team members, the basic data required for the estimation of the financial feasibility of the proposed interventions, and analyze the financial feasibility of the proposed interventions;
Assist in developing standard forms and templates to collect and evaluate project related data;
Verification of the submitted reports from the line directorates ;
Conduct various case studies on a needs basis of AAIP PMU;
Assist the M&E specialist to analyze data (both qualitative and quantitative);
Assist to coordinate all research/survey activities;
Implement quality control during fieldwork related to M&E activities;
Support field recruitment and train field staffs;
Assist in the compilation of different monthly and quarterly and annual reports for AAIP PMU;
Collect all feedbacks and incorporate the necessary, relevant and required comments into report;
Assist in documentation of best practices and lessons learnt in project implementation;
Conduct regular field visits and provide full feedback to M&E Section on the M&E and reporting;
Perform any other official task assigned by the M&E Specialist/ Project Director.
Report to the M&E Manager of AAIP-PMU in the Ministry of MAIL.
A bachelor degree in social science, Economics or any other relevant field; preference will be given to master degree holder
2 to 3 years of relevant experience in the field of M&E;
Proficiency in basic computer programs (including word processing, database, and spreadsheet applications).
Able to use statistical software e.g. SPSS and STATA etc
Proficiency in English, Pashto and Dari: writing and speaking;
