The M&E Officer is responsible to develop an exhaustive monitoring and evaluation plan and procedure for ANGO. The incumbent will also take on the lead role to implement the said plan on different ANGO projects. The Communications Officer will be responsible of carrying out a thorough results based monitoring of the project on yearly basis and produce documents to analyze and gauge the extent of ANGO’s work achievements and challenges in the year. Develop reports on M&E indicators and measurements as per ANGO’s donors’ needs.
The responsibilities of this position are as follows:
• Responsible for design, development, and implementation of M&E systems, including M&E SOPs, guidance and tools
• Support program staff in planning for and executing M&E, including, data collection methodology and tools and data management, analysis and use
• Develop and maintain an updated activity indicators database for all project activities in accordance with international standards
• Extract data from activity indicators database for analysis write up
• Train and advice ANGO team in gathering concrete data for M&E purposes
• Track organization activities and produce internal monthly reports to be shared with Donors
• Write, design and produce annual progress reports for ANGO in collaboration with the Communications Officer
• Act as a focal point to organize and manage monitoring and evaluations review with donors as per need
• Promote and guide quality in the organization, and ensure critical gaps are identified and addressed
· Experience in Managing M&E systems for non-profit organizations
· Excellent knowledge of Monitoring and Evaluation Tools
· Experience in conducting field studies for M&E purposes
· Excellent writing skills in English
· Initiative and results-oriented mindset
· Knowledge of developing documents
· Strong independent work ethic
