Job Summary:
MTN Afghanistan is currently looking for qulaified and competent candidates for the positions of Maintenance Engineer for the below mentioned Provinces:
-Kabul - Badghis - Baghlan
-Ningarhar - Laghman - Logar
-Kunar - Kandahar - Ghazni
-Daikundi - Sari Pul - Kundoz
-Jawzjan - Takhar - Badakhshan
-Panjshir - Parwan
Duties & Responsibilities:
Summary of the Job:
Effective maintenance and supervision of the MTN sites
• Execute Maintenance procedures related to radio and transmission sites maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair first level radio, transmission and environmental alarms (BTS, MW, A/C, Generator, rectifiers)
• Reports problems description and applied solutions.
• Execute the radio and transmission sites preventive maintenance plan.
• Propose ideas to secure sites operations.
• Supervising Contractors on the plans
• Applies MTN Afghanistan’s safety rules during sites intervention.
• Radio and transmission equipment.
• Generators and control system.
• Rectifier and UPS power system.
• Supervising contractors on the plans.
• Any other task assigned by the supervisor/manager
Job Requirement:
- B.Sc in Electric and Electronics Engineering or equalant.
- Telecom knowledge
- Computer literate
- Fluent in English, Pashto and Dari
- Customer Oriented and Team Player
- Ability to negotiate
- Good Management and Communication skills
- Good Counselling, Mediation and Dispute resolution skills
