Job Summary

The Manager (Knowledge Management)’s responsibilities include:

• To lead the team of the resource centers
• Collect information about livelihoods from internet
• Develop and maintain Livelihood Web site
• Store, retrieve and disseminate information on Livelihoods
• Support preparation of e copy of Livelihood News Letter and designing News letter
• To take charge of e-library of Livelihood resource centre
• Set up and up date web site for sharing of information on Livelihoods
• To provide information to all the stake holders
• Any other matter of importance as assigned by Manager (Livelihoods, National Livelihood Co-ordinator. Deputy Country Director or the country director

Job Requirements

Qualified candidates must have:
• Afghan National
• Graduate in any field with extensive training in Computer application or graduation or diploma in Computer application
• At least 2/3 years working experience in a development projects in Afghanistan
• Prior working experience in livelihood development activities is an asset
• Fluency in English speaking is required.
• Decent computer skill (MS word, excel and Power point)
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Strong leadership abilities
• Proficient in written and oral communication skills in Dari.
• Willing to travel in various parts of Afghanistan
