We have established a new Garment Factory and we are seeking Senior Managers for various positions
TITLE: Managing Director
LOCATION: Kabul, Afghanistan
INDUSTRY: Garment Production
ACCOUNTABLE TO: Board of Directors and their representatives
LIAISES WITH: Government, Clients, Suppliers
OBJECTIVES: To ensure the company operates profitably and in an ethical manner in order to fulfill the objectives of its shareholders, customers and staff.
Duties & Responsibilities:
â€¢ Implement operational strategies as per the companyâ€™s Strategic Business Plans.
â€¢ Monitor and control the companyâ€™s performance and finances in accordance with the budgets approved by the Board of Directors.
â€¢ To ensure that all staff and workers are effectively employed and adequately trained to perform their responsibilities and operational tasks in an ethical and responsible manner.
â€¢ To ensure that the products produced are of high quality in accordance with the companyâ€™s quality policies.
â€¢ To ensure that the company meets all its legal requirements, including those relating to Occupational Health and Safety.
â€¢ Overall responsibility for raw material selection and timely purchasing and utilization.
â€¢ Acquisition, maintenance and efficient utilization of the companyâ€™s physical assets.
â€¢ Facilitate and enhance workflow and production procedures among various bodies of factory.
â€¢ Monitor and control routine training requirements of staff and workers.
â€¢ Full responsibility of profit and loss for factory
â€¢ Provide leadership for all direct functions dedicated to the business unit, including Admin Management, Product Management, and Logistics
â€¢ Develop, formulate and execute short and long term business plans.
â€¢ Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, yield improvement, quality improvement, supply chain development, asset management control and ensures high customer service level.
â€¢ Builds and maintains a team of excellence through careful selection of key personnel including promotions of existing employees.
â€¢ Perform periodic operation reviews at manufacturing locations and other direct functions.
â€¢ Ensure all actions and activities, internal and external to the business unit, are performed ethically, lawfully and with a high degree of integrity
EDUCATION and SKILLS
â€¢ Bachelor's or Masterâ€™s degree in business administration
â€¢ Fluent in English and Dari
â€¢ Highly developed personal qualities and be able to communicate clearly and persuasively.
â€¢ Ability to analyze large amounts of information and data quickly, and the ability to evaluate the relationships among numerous factors
â€¢ Leadership, self-confidence, motivation, decisiveness, flexibility, sound business judgment, and determination.
