Job Summary

To market the IVR elections on Demand service-to ensure that maximum number of people per day call the on demand service and listen to stories around the election-to specifically target key groups as set out in the proposal.

Duties & Responsibilities

To explain and promote the News and information on the ODIVR to the widest possible community, so design of promotional materials, advertising litterature and then targeted campaigns.
E-mail campaign
Build a subscribers list
Direct Phone marketing
Face to face meetings to engage individuals and groups and encourage these groups to market the ODIVR system to their networks.
To build a database of interested users (that may be used with either OD or possibly SPAM)
Local media
Ngo’s
Women’s groups
Special interest group
Targets to have 200 individuals from across Afghanistan call the ODIVR system per day.

Job Requirements

SKILLS: Marketing background, Computer Literate, strong research abilities, proven track record in marketing, design of marketing materials and campaigns, well connected, comprehension of afghan cell phone marketing, Dari and Pashto, self starter.
Fluent Pahsto and Dari, and English;
