OXUS Afghanistan started Operation in 2005 under support of ACTED, a development and relief NGO, which is operating in twenty five Countries of the world, and Microfinance Investment Support Facility for Afghanistan (MISFA). Currently, OXUS Afghanistan has a portfolio of over AFN 816 million with an outreach of about 22,000 customers managed through 19 Branches, 10 provinces. OXUS Afghanistan is a part of OXUS Group, a global network of Microfinance Institutions created by ACTED, a leading international NGO operating in 25 countries. OXUS Afghanistan was created with funding from the Microfinance Investment Support Facility for Afghanistan (MISFA), a Government Apex agency set up by international donors in 2003 in order to develop and support the microfinance sector in Afghanistan. OXUS Afghanistan Provides conventional and Islamic financing. OXUS -Afghanistan has individual and group lending which helps Afghan people have access to finance. OXUS-Afghanistan provides financing for youth and women as women improvement process and support them for better access to finance.

Job Summary:

The Marketing Manager is responsible of the implementation and the improvement of all the tools related to the relation with customer and the selling of our products.
This position is based in headquarter with many missions on the field and is under the responsibility of the COO.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1)Responsible of OXUS overall marketing strategy implementation

a)Work with Operation Team on the improvement of Marketing Impact of our branches
b)Assess needs on the field and propose remediation
c)Improve Marketing Management procedures

2)Prepare expansion on a marketing aspect

a)Perform Market Study in the area where OXUS intends to expend
b)Identify potential areas of expansion in the country and then around each main office
c)Evaluate the potential of each area and propose the main characteristics of the branch/sub branch to be opened
d)Give Input regarding the position of the office and its presentation.

3)Work on improving OXUS Afghanistan Offer

a)Perform market study on the needs identified on the field
b)Assess the gap between OXUS Offer the real needs
c)Propose product development to improve the relevancy of OXUS Offer the use of resources on a monthly basis in cooperation with Regional Manager;

4)Manage relationship with Donors and funders

a)Make sure we keep good relationship with our investors and donors
b)Organize their visits
c)Manage the relationship with the peer to peer lending platform

Job Requirement:

a)University Degree (any country) in Business, Management, Finance/Accounting, Education, similar;
b)Minimum two (5) years working experience, preferably in the field of finance or for a banking institution;
c)Minimum two (2) years supervision experience;
d)Strong computer skills including Word, Excel;
e)Excellent communication and writing skills;
f)Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
g)Able to work independently and in a group, willing to take initiative, and energetic;
h)Fluent in English and Dari;
