The marketing manager is responsible for all daily marketing affairs of CITY MEDIA (CRTV); the incumbent will work under the direct supervision of the General Director. As marketing manager s/he plans, directs and coordinates the marketing of the organization's services by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate employees:
Duties & Responsibilities:
Must be well experienced to direct the hiring, training and performance evaluations of marketing and sales staff also to oversee their daily activities.
Plan and assist direct marketing, (including the assistance in preparing proposal, quotation, contract and company profile).
Develop marketing plan, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction.
Identify, develop and evaluate marketing strategy and policy.
Establish and maintain working relations with all other organizations, companies and NGOs in Kabul and the regions; develop and maintain contact with focal persons in the provinces.
Advise the relevant team on local, national and international factors affecting the buying and selling of services and products.
Responsible to carry out assessment and study related to projects marketing systems.
Study all requirements of any projects as well as primary assessment.
Study and survey the market and understand the demands and find innovative ways that can meet the needs and wants.
Plans and oversees the organization's advertising and promotion activities including print, electronic and direct mail outlets.
Keep constant, appropriate contacts (by phone, E-mail and personally) with other organizations.
Prepare progressive reports to update General Director on the success of the department.
To-do any other concerned duty assigned or as directed by the General Director
University degree in Business Administration/Marketing.
At least five years of work experiences at a similar position.
Experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies.
Knowledge of training and experience on monitoring of marketing program/activities.
Able to take the initiative and respond quickly to the market opportunities/ requirements.
Ability to manage and motivate employees and to handle stress and work under pressure.
In addition to knowledge of local languages, fluent English with good writing skill.
Computer literate (Knowledge of Ms-word, Ms-excel and Power point is must).
Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
Great presentation skill.
Ability and skills of producing written documents both in English and Dari.
Knowledge of principles and practices of personal management and effective supervision.
Flexible, punctual and hard working.
