Job Summary

To work in development Department for developing organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

•Liaise with external sources, including the media, educational institutions, donor organizations and suppliers
•Design promotional materials and manage printers
•Respond quickly and efficiently to issues arising in the media and produce responses for issues which arise
on overseas expeditions
•Initiate, plan and implement new initiatives with regard to awareness-raising
•Source and procure commercial sponsorship for new marketing initiatives
•Develop and improve upon collaboration with counterpart organizations, including events management
•Maintain contact with similar organizations and understand their operational marketing strategies
•Market, develop and co-ordinate expeditions for educational institutions
•Provide content management support for campaigns and communications, supporter relations and
Fundraising departments
•Maintain an up to date knowledge base of all online media vendors to ensure timely and effective
Engagement as required to support Afghanistan campaigns and activities
•Structures relationships, rates, terms and methods to evaluate results with key vendors in Afghanistan to support
MIDS best interests

Job Requirements

Substantial knowledge of working for or with online media vendors on large scale projects
•Knowledge of all current online outreach strategies and tactics including online advertising, blogs, video,
wikis, supporter e-alerts, partnerships models
•Prior experience in web content management
•Ability to work independently on project execution from discovery and definition through evaluation and
Closure; to stay within scope, on budget and to meet established deadlines and perform effectively and
Accurately in a fast paced environment
•Fluent English. A second language is an advantage.
•Excellent organizational and communication skills, good judgment and strong interpersonal skills
