Afghanistan Center for Training and Development “ACTD” is a registered non for profit, non-political and non-governmental independent organization working for development and transformation of civil society in Afghanistan. ACTD was established in March 2007 by a group of Afghan professionals to offer research, training and consultancy services in order to develop practically applicable knowledge. ACTD is currently operating in 19 provinces of the country providing services in the fields of community and civil society development, training/capacity building, research, and health service delivery.

Job Summary:

The master trainers will conduct health courses in accordance to MoPH approved curriculums in different provinces of Afghanistan.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Core responsibilities
To be able to conduct the following courses
a) Leadership
b) Project Cycle Management
c) Office Management
d) General Management
e) Disaster Management

Related Responsibilities
Familiarity with training cycle,
Participatory training methodologies and techniques, Social analytical tools,
Coordinate pre- and post-training evaluations to determine if intended training objectives have been met,
To conduct training according to selected objectives,
To prepare reports monthly, quarterly and yearly training activity report based on Training,
To coordinate training activities with training coordinator,
To keep updated training curriculums and lesson plans,
To follow up and evaluate training activities with selected objectives and reporting,
To develop need based modules and materials,
To prepare training plan and responsible for organizing facilitators training,
To do training evaluation to assess that the knowledge, information, skills and practice are appropriate as per objectives,
To provide technical handouts to participants.

Job Requirement:

Holder of MPH and Medical Doctor degree
Three years practical working experience in conducting trainings and curriculum development
Computer competence in MS-Office.
Excellent communication skills in English, Dari, and Pashtu
Knowledge and experience of facilitating trainings and other learning activities
Knowledge of over-all training, development, and capacity building
