Under the supervision of Project Manager and the Program Manager the Master Trainer is responsible for staff and community development councils’ capacity building and their awareness for the purpose of smooth project implementation in the field and target schools. Master Trainer with the support of NSP Master Trainer will be strongly supporting project manager, extensions, farmer associations, social organizer/ facilitators and the CDCs’ members, in terms of their capacity building and awareness in target schools/villages.
-Prepare training materials and conduct training sessions for stakeholders in target community/schools;
-Maintain and organize training files and other relevant stuff;
-Assist with management of training budget and oversight of procurement processes;
-Identify training needs and prepare training materials as per trainees’ level;
-Assist supervisor/project manager to organize, facilitate, and lead training activities/events;
-Support periodic field-based training needs assessments and make arrangement for training conduction;
-Provide technical assistance to field teams during implementation activities;
-Monitor field teams related to training activities, and assess and report on progress to supervisor;
-Uphold the mission, values, and spirit of FGA in coordinating the project and in interacting with all community/CDCs members;
-Follow and enforce all FGA organizational policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to personnel, security, communications, finance, procurement, and logistics.
-Report any violations/field security related matters (incidents) to appropriate FGA authority;
-Perform any other duties as requested by supervisor/the organization;
Required knowledge, Skills and Abilities
-Excellent spoken and written communication skills; Pashto and Dari languages essential, English is credited;
-Ability to work closely in team environment;
-Excellent interpersonal skills;
-Self motivated, but with the ability to make good use of the experience that is extremely stressful;
-Strong training conduction and awareness raising skills; familiar with NSP training tools and methodology;
-Familiarized with communities in NGR in target area; Surkhrod and Behsud districts;
Minimum Education and Professional Requirements
-At least 12 grade graduate with 2-3 years of experience in the field (horticultural projects/activities);
-University (agriculture) graduate with two years of experience;
-Full knowledge of security conditions at work area, with experience in the relevant field;
Working Conditions
This job requires travel to insecure localities in target areas with longer hours travel (perhaps) including; sometimes, weekend hours.
