At present, it is seeking an exceptional individual to fill the position of Master Trainer at its Bamyan Office in Bamyan- Afghanistan.
OVERALL OBJECTIVES

The Master Trainers will work in close coordination with the regional education team in the establishment and support of GESP initiatives. They will be responsible for conducting series of trainings for school management and teaching staff, provincial and district education staff and engaging community support for program activities.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support GESP initiatives in close coordination with the regional education team and in accordance with AKDN policy and MOE directives.
• Provide training and mentoring to teaching staff, MoE regional staff and communities through programs which address the social and educational barriers affecting girls in schools;
• Assist in the development of teaching learning resources and programs which support the educational and social needs of girls in school;
• Support teaching staff in reference schools for girls in the implementation of a whole school development plan;
• Promote community awareness of and involvement of parents in their children’s education and well being
• Data collection on education related activities
• Administration: Monthly reports for RETUH
• Technical: Support of teachers output in the field and School Management Committees;
• Geographical Scope: In the specific duty district education activities are being conducted
• Any other duty assigned by the PDU Coordinator, Regional Education Training Unit Head and REPM
• Any other duty assigned by the PDU Coordinator, Regional Education Training Unit Head and REPM

Job Requirements

• University Degree or Teacher Training College Degree.
• At least 3 years experience in education particularly in areas of primary teaching, teacher training;
• Proven ability to work with small communities;
• Excellent communication skills in Dari and Pashtu
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
