Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of Office Management Officer he/she will undertake the following duties and responsibilities.

Duties & Responsibilities

The technician will carry out the daily inspection of all electrical equipment.

Maintain all electrical installation and all the electrical system works probably.

Responsible for repairing and installation of office metallic doors and windows

Responsible for repairing of all electronic instruments of the office and timely reporting to the Office Management Offer.

Responsible for planned preventive maintenance of power system of the generator fire alarm panels and all electrical panels, batteries and power supplies of the main office and other district offices in Kabul.

Responsible to replace the defective lamp & tubes if required.

Keeping the logbook records of all generators of UN-Habitat in Kabul Offices.

Estimation of the monthly fuel, oil and filters for the office generators, and fuel consumption report to his supervisor.

Changing of the Oil, Filters and maintenance of all the office generators and office vehicles when required.

Receive the fuel and distribute to the office vehicles , Generators in District offices

Perform any other tasks assigned by supervisor

Required education, experience, language(s) proficiency, and preferred gender

At least Diploma in mechanical Engineering/Technical Institute of related field.
At least five years of experience in technical/electrical maintenance with National/International Organizations
