Job Summary:

BMC media analyst job profile comprises analysis of the articles, news, and the media, according to different requirements and targets. BMC analysts have to study the situation of media, use surveys and statistics, readership and viewership data, and choose the best place to promote a particular topics

Duties & Responsibilities:

•A media analyst has to keep track of how well programs and related articles is portrayed and covered in BMC such as newspapers, television and the internet
•He has to keep track of where and how often the incident take place or mentioned by other media organizations and how many people have seen the article or programme
•He has to analyse the effect of the articles or programs broadcasting from BMC
•He has to analyse if that article was successful in creating a positive image or did not create an impact
•He also has to see if that particular audience is important for the programs success.

Job Requirement:

The analyst must have knowledge and understanding of figures and see how these results relate to and affect each other, he must have the ability to comprehend media trends and apply them in his work.
- To have a deep knowledge in Media and Afghan Press Policy
- Strong writing, reporting and editing skills--verifiable.
- To be fluent in English (written, spoken, read), in Dari and in Pashto.
- Experience in International Media Organizations or Afghan Association will be a plus.
- To be computer literate: Word, Excel (Photoshop and Coreldraw will be a plus).
