• Develop and adjust a yearly plan for investment promotion activities both domestically and internationally in line with the image building mission outlined in AISA’s marketing strategy.
• Manage and guide event executives in all details relevant to the organisation of those activities
• Be the main focal point for all contacts before, during and after promotion events
• Manage all contacts made during events
• Liaise closely with Investor Support Department in the dissemination of contact information on interested investors.
• Maintain meticulous data-base records on all contacts and results of overseas promotional trips, draft reports.
• Tie-ups / Partnering with International IPAs (Investment Promotion Agencies)
• To enable prompt investment sourcing and matching of investment to opportunities and easier transfer of expertise and best practice
• Establish Foreign/local Country Desks at AISA
• To provide information to interested foreign parties on the Afghanistan business environment
• To provide interested parties with specific information / criteria on proceeding with investments
• To assist investors in promoting their investments
• Network and create a database of influential contacts such as:
- Top Government Officials (International and Domestic)
- Business Leaders
- Media
- Assist in facilitating visas for potential interested parties;
- Disseminate information about AISA (through visits, exhibitions, conference, promotional collateral)
- Follow-up with the results of visits, promises, business interests
• Organize and Participate in: (International and Domestic)
- Road shows;
- Exhibits;
- Conferences;
- Symposiums;
- Forums.
• Hosting of Foreign Delegations in order to:
- Present AISA in a positive light;
- Provide information (on the investment environment, opportunities, statistics and so on)
• Cultivate sponsors / goodwill ambassadors and opinion leaders (International / Domestic)
• Create a Unified Multimedia / Interactive Presentation, business profiles, investment brochures Other Requirements:
• Designing and Supervising the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programs.
• Working closely on technical part of Event Management.
• Oversee production of visual (film or video) and audio electronic material
• Other duties as assigned
• Bachelor degree in Economics, international relation, international trade, Business Administration or any other related field
• A minimum of two years experience in the relevant field.
• Excellent language skills both oral and written (English, Pashto, Dari)
• Excellent computer knowledge
• Excellent Typing skills in above mentioned language
• He/She will be instructed and assigned for day to day activities by Director
• Excellent communication skills
