The Assistance for the Development of Afghan Legal Access and Transparency (ADALAT) Project is working with the Afghanistan Supreme Court (SC) to strengthen the Court’s administrative capacity to manage its Administration, Finance and human resources functions. The Monitoring, Evaluation, and Statistical Systems Advisor will assist Supreme Court in development and implementation of an effective M&E system, and facilitate the generation of statistical information data needed by HR and Administration and Finance General Directorates.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop a SC Finance and Administration M&E System and Work Plan
Develop and implement strategies and interventions to improve the system.
Provide technical coaching and mentoring to concerned employees.
Document the SC’s statistical information system needs and requirements and develop proposed statistical reporting improvement plan
Train Finance and Administration Directorate staff in development and implementation of the SC’s M&E Plan
Prepare M$E baseline assessment
University degree in Public Administration with focus on Monitoring and Evaluation and Statistics Management. At least 5 years of experience with Master degree and 7 years of experience with Bachelor degree.
Level 4 English ability.
Ability to design, develop and deliver different types of trainings, and provide coaching and mentoring to concerned government employees.
Preferably familiar with justice and judicial sectors of the country.
Ability to communicate with work effectively with senior government officials.
Strong communication skills, including interpersonal written and oral English.
