Job Summary:
Establish and implement Monitoring and Evaluation system to monitor and evaluate directorates’ performance and recommend on how to improve their performance to implement relevant work plans in a timely manner.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Establish and implement Monitoring and Evaluation system to monitor and evaluate directorates’ performance and recommend on how to improve their performance to implement relevant work plans in a timely manner.
Receive benchmarks from international community and MoMP officials and communicate them to relevant directorates for implementation (M&E)
Monitor and evaluate the implementation of the ministry’s benchmarks and provide recommendation on how to improve directorates’ performance in respect with benchmark implementation (M&E)
Receive the decisions of High Economic Council and Cabinet’s and monitor and report back on their implementation (M&E)
Monitor MoMP’s On-budget Projects performance and provide recommendation on how to improve projects’ performance in respect with their work plan implementation (M&E)
Accomplish any other tasks assigned by the incumbent’s supervisor.
Job Requirement:
At least bachelor Master’s degree is preferred in Public Administration, Business Administration, Development or Law is required
At least three (5) years of working experience with both Afghanistan Government (MoMP) and Donor Project or International Organization in the related field is required.
The Incumbent should have sound knowledge of the extractive sector
The Incumbent should have strong written and oral communication and other interpersonal skills
The incumbent should be able to work with MoMP officials, e.g. H. E. Minister, Deputy Ministers, and Directors in a professional manner
The incumbent should be able to represent MoMP in intra-government and non-government meetings, conferences …etc.
The incumbent should have sound presentation skills and ability to present to a large group of audience, national and international
The incumbent should be able to manage and work in working groups
The incumbent should be able to write reports, briefing paper, correspondence, and research paper as required
The incumbent should be fluent in speaking, reading and writing in English.
