About Afghanistan Center for Training and Development - ACTD:
Afghanistan Center for Training and Development â€œACTDâ€ is a registered non for profit, non-political and non-governmental independent organization working for development and transformation of civil society in Afghanistan. ACTD was established in March 2007 by a group of Afghan professionals to offer research, training and consultancy services in order to develop practically applicable knowledge. ACTD is currently operating in 19 provinces of the country providing services in the fields of community and civil society development, training/capacity building, research, and health service delivery.
Over all Responsibilities:
The M and E Officer has the overall responsibility for monitoring ACTD projects in different provinces. S/he will be reporting to director of monitoring and evaluation department of ACTD.
Duties & Responsibilities:
â€¢ To prepare/develop over all monitoring plans on the quarterly and annual bases.
â€¢ To develop project monitoring tools and checklists,
â€¢ Regularly monitor the projects inputs, outputs and impacts during the program/project implementation.
â€¢ To analyze data, prepare reports and submit to director of the department
â€¢ To provide timely feedback to projects and relevant departments in close coordination with director M and E
â€¢ To conduct follow ups visits of the corrective action plans to ensure quality implementation of the projects.
â€¢ To maintain updated monitoring database for all projects
â€¢ Organizing training sessions for M and E officers and other ACTD staff on the need base
â€¢ Facilitates any internal and external monitoring visits of the project targeted areas.
â€¢ Maintaining hard filling system of M and E department.
â€¢ To take active part in external and internal evaluation of ACTD projects / programs
1. Graduated from reputable medical faculty, preferably MPH / MBA
2. Familiar with BPHS/EPHS, national policies and strategies
3. At least three years working experience with an NGOs in M and E or related field preferably in health sector.
4. Ability and willingness to travel to the provinces.
5. Good in English writing, speaking and understanding and local languages
6. Good computer skills
7. Must be of a good and respectful character,
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
