Job Summary

SHELADIA Associates is a multi-disciplinary international professional consulting firm with demonstrated experience in the successful management and implementation of development projects throughout the world and Afghanistan. SHELADIA works in over 70 countries throughout Asia, Africa, and the Americas. We are currently looking to fill the position of Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist for Arghandab Integrated Water Resources Development Project (AIWRDP) project.  

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare reporting formats and procedures for project activities;
• Preparation of PPMS for the project components implemented by MAIL, by adapting PPMS established under previous ADB projects in the MAIL CPMO;
• Maintain a PPMS database;
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, six-monthly and annual reports for the CPMO Director on project progress towards the performance indicators in the project DMF;
• Under supervision of the international Impact Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, finalize survey questionnaires, reporting formats and data analysis procedures;
• Recruit and train enumerators to survey farmers and enter the data in spreadsheet format;
• Maintain the impact evaluation database;
• Carry out data analysis;
• Under supervision of the international Impact Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, prepare baseline, annual and final evaluationreports.

Job Requirements

• Must have tertiary qualifications in agriculture, economics, natural resources, evaluation or another relevant subject.
• Must 5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, management information systems, and preparation of project management reports.
