Job Summary

This position is responsible to lead, guide and supervise the independent monitoring teams to perform their jobs as per the program requirements. Analyze and consolidate the weekly monitoring reports and keep the DM and E advisor updated on the progress and provide feedbacks on timely manner to the project supervisors/filed staff.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assess staffing needs
• Oversee, Prepare/develop over all monitoring plans.
• Regularly examine the project outputs and impacts
during the program implementation.
• Approve all monitoring reports and submit consolidated regular reports to DM and E advisor that enable them to assess the progress in meeting the objectives of the program.
• Provide on timely manner feedback and do follow ups
to ensure adjusted implementation.
• Support, guide and supervise senior monitoring
officers and monitoring officers.
• Provide feedback to project supervisors.
• Facilitates any internal and external monitoring
visits of the project targeted areas.
• Supervise assigned staff, including but not limited
to: providing ongoing guidance and direction, regular feedback on employee performance, behavior and professional development.
• Any other assignment given to him by his/her
supervisor.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering,

WORK EXPERIENCE: Three to five years working experience as Monitoring and Evaluation supervisor.

SKILLS: Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Proficiency in computer (MS - Word, Excel, Access) and goody analytical. thinking

GENERAL: Willingness to work under pressure and to work extra hours as required.
