Duties & Responsibilities


Identify M&E needs

Regular Monitoring of all project activities

Participate in developing operational M&E tools (e.g., questionnaires, database, data collection forms & methodologies, etc.)

Take responsibility for the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation framework of the project, this includes preparation of M&E plan, M&E activities implementation plan in close coordination with Project Manager

Monitor project output/outcome indicators and assess progress made against targets with considering of project quality, and provide timely feedback to Project Manager

Participate in the evaluation of the project’s results and achievements

Actively participate in project implementation and coordination meetings

Assist in developing technical concepts, guidelines, manuals, procedures, concept papers on M&E issues upon request of the management team

Prepare the weekly/monthly schedule of monitoring and evaluation related activities

Assist in maintaining a clear and transparent filing system

Perform any other M&E related tasks

Job Requirements


Bachelor/Masters Degree in Business, Finance, Social Science, Economics, or Information Technology or in any related fields.

At least two years of management experience

At least one years of working directly in M&E

Thorough familiarity with principles and current approaches to M&E using both quantitative and qualitative methods

Understanding of donor expectations and trends for M&E

Demonstrated ability to transfer knowledge to diverse audiences through training, mentoring, and other formal and non-formal methods

Excellent analytic and computer skills. Skilled in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access

Skilled in influencing and obtaining cooperation of individuals not under supervisory control able to work as member of multinational team and manage long-distance relationships to achieve results

Ability to engage and motivate staff and partners in a challenging new area

Demonstrated strengths in relationship management with a strong client service focus, able to work with diverse groups of people in multicultural, team oriented environment

Self-motivated and able to work without close supervision

Able to prioritize work, multi-task and meet deadlines

Excellent organization and planning skills, detail oriented

Demonstrated M&E field experience. skilled in collecting, manipulating, synthesizing and analyzing data
