About NATO Afghanistan - Resolute Support :
Resolute Support is a NATO-led, non-combat mission. It was launched on January 1, 2015, following the conclusion of the previous NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) mission, and the assumption of full security responsibility by the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF). Its purpose is to help the Afghan security forces and institutions develop the capacity to defend Afghanistan and protect its citizens in a sustainable manner. The mission performs supporting functions in several areas. These include: operational planning; budgetary development; force generation process; management and development of personnel; logistical sustainment; and civilian oversight (in order to ensure the Afghan security forces and institutions act in accordance with the rule of law and good governance).
The incumbent is responsible for providing customer services at the Camp RS MWA Customer Service Desk.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Staffs the MWA Customer Service Desk.
Maintains a high-level of customer service and provides quality assistance to customers.
Starts movies and assists cinema customers.
Assists customers with basic internet and computer usage.
Signs out movies, games and game equipment.
Ensures all equipment is returned in good condition.
Registers DVD users in a Microsoft Excel database and processes rentals and returns to ensure proper tracking.
Monitors use and cleanliness of all work related areas.
Assists in ensuring the cleanliness of the customer service area and the Lobby.
Requests facility cleaners from billeting to assist with basic clean-up as needed.
Takes reservation requests for facilities and barbecue areas and ensures reservation forms are properly filled out and endorsed.
Assists with the set-up and breakdown of events and tournaments held at the camp.
Performs other duties as required.
The employee may be required to perform a similar range of duties elsewhere within the organization at the same grade without there being any change to the contract.
The work is normally performed in a typical Office/Secure Facility environment. Slightly Undesirable Conditions apply.
High school graduate.
Basic Computer skills.
Standard Automated Data Processing (ADP) Knowledge:
Basic knowledge of Word Processing and Database and Working knowledge of Spread sheet.
Ability to work in a customer service area in an unsupervised capacity with multi-national personnel.
This position involves shift work – Shifts could vary between 0700 and 2300 hours.
Vital to the continuity of MWA customer service.
