Job Summary

CREATIVE seeks an Afghan national to fill the role of National Grants Manager. The role will require an active and dynamic manager to work in a fast paced working environment and will require the incumbent to be able to meet the needs of the program. The NGM will be responsible to develop and oversee the administration of the grants management system and the web-based program management information database in all regions of Afghanistan. The NGM will also oversee the development and submission of all grants development and approval requirements to USAID. The position will be based in Kabul and will require occasional travel most regional offices.

QUALIFICATIONS / COMPETENCIES

• Graduated from University at a Master’s degree level
• Technical experience in grants management, gender mainstreaming and civil society development with USAID projects
• Experienced in participating as a member of a senior level management team
• Ability to apply organizational policies and procedures with minimal supervision
• Experience in leading and managing teams
• Five years experience with USAID projects.
• Fluent written and spoken English, Dari and Pashto
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office, Excel and internet management
