Network Security Manager

Job Summary:

As a network security manager, your responsibility would be to maintain the security of an organization's IT network. This could include selecting and installing security hardware and software, analyzing networks for potential security threats, and developing Internet protocols to deal with viruses. You will be needed to also help to protect the company's information and privacy by developing and data encryption methods and programs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·      Develop quarterly, Semi-annual and Annual Plan in compliance with the organizational plan.

·      Manage the daily operation and implementation of the Network security strategy

·      Conduct a continuous assessment of current Network security practices and systems and identifying areas for improvement

·      Run security audits and risk assessments

·      Deliver new security technology approaches and implementing next-generation solutions

·      Oversee the management of the Network security department, giving leadership to the team and developing staff

·      Ensure compliance and governance is met

·      Drive change projects and building new Network capabilities

·      Develop and implement business continuity plans to ensure service is continuous when a change program is introduced or a security breach occurs or in the event that the disaster recovery plan needs to be triggered

·      Protect the intellectual property of the organization at all times

·      Devise strategies and implement Network solutions to minimize the risk of cyber-attacks

·      Review, analyze and deliver data information

·      Communicate digital programs and strategy to a range of stakeholders

·      Manage the Network security budget and communicating this with the appropriate parties

·      Perform any other task assigned by the Line manager.

Job Requirement:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies or related field, (Masters Preferred).

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience working in same positions as IT application engineer, software development.

Skills Required:

·      Strong understanding of a process driven environment

·      Security+

·      CEH (Certified Ethical Hacking)

·      CCNA, CCNP (Security)

·      CISSP (Certified Information System Security Professional)

·      CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)

·      Working with ASA, Firepower, Pal alto firewalls

·      Configuring IPsecVPN, DMVPN, FlexVPN, GetVPN

·      Strong experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches.

·      Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

·      Strong written and verbal skills and interpersonal skills

·      Strong customer service experience required

·      Availability to work overtime in times of emergency and specialized project deliveries.

·      Understand and manage the pressure of a 24x7 customer support environment.
