Job Summary

• Develops training modules and methodologies on community-based construction projects;
• Develops monitoring and evaluation tools for NSP infrastructure projects;
• Undertakes technical assessment, designs and estimates NSP infrastructure projects;

Duties & Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Provincial Engineer in the related base, the incumbent carries out the following duties:

• Develops training modules and methodologies on community-based construction projects;
• Generates monthly progress reports on NSP villages infrastructure projects;
• Ensures technical inputs into construction projects designs;
• Develops monitoring and evaluation tools for NSP infrastructure projects;
• Undertakes technical assessment, designs and estimates NSP infrastructure projects;
• implementation, monitoring and evaluation
• Writing proposals for the proposed projects.
• Control and management of a team
• Training of sites engineer and community members
• Guidance of work before to be started
• Sketch the given constructive work
• Estimation of the needed material for the proposed project
• Staff management and coordination, including masons, etc.
• Monitoring and evaluation of rehabilitation and construction work in related communities’ projects.
• Provide report to NSP senior engineer on work program.
• Give and solve technical advice to communities for achievement of projects.
• Perform other duties requested by his/her supervisor

Job Requirements

• B. Sc. in Civil Engineering, Road Engineering or Hydraulics Engineering (Master Degree is Preferable).
• At least three years of working experiences in the field (with NSP is preferable).
• Proficiency in MS Office and Auto Cad 2007, 2008, 2009 Versions.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and local languages.
• Strong communication skills.
