Plan and initiate nursing educational activities to strengthen the knowledge and skills of FMIC nursing staff.
The ideal candidate would be able to:
1. Strengthening the program of nursing education services
2. Identifying the continuous education and training needs and implementing the appropriate educational programs for nursing staff
3. Develop different training modules and plan trainings for nursing staff from different areas
4. Ensuring all staff meet credentialing requirements
5. Plan and coordinate effective overseas training for nursing staff
6. Overseas and ensure the effective implementation of Badakhshan capacity building plan
7. Facilitate trainees from outside hospital i.e. GIHS, KMU, Faisabad and Bamyan Hospital
8. Conduct trainings/ workshops for AKDN or other organizations on request basis
9. Prepare a comprehensive report for NES monthly and annual educational activities
10. Participate in timely hiring of staff on various vacancies of nursing division
11. Ensure that all newly inducted nurses possess knowledge and skills through conducting nursing orientation programs
12. Developing and strengthening nursing policies, procedures and procedures and protocols for maintaining the international standards of care
13. Develop and review documents/ forms for its effective implementation
14. Plan and organize quality audits for nursing and infection control policies and procedures
The Ideal Candidate Should have Professional Qualifications:
Nursing degree registered with the relevant entities i.e. MoPH/ MoHE
Basic life support (BLS) provider and instructor
Pediatric advance life support (PALS) / Advance cardiac life support (ACLS) / Neonatal resuscitation program provider and instructor
Medication certificate module for RNs
Peripheral intervenes cannulation (PIVC)
Good Communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with team members.
Model the mission and values of the institution.
Make responsible decision that result in time and cost containment to the institution and customers and clear accountability.
Travel within or outside the country for short/long term training/mission when needed
