Job Summary:
Assignment :
Supervision, monitoring and follow up of the medical and nutritional treatment of severely malnourished children in the mobile clinic in BPHS HFs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
Objective 1: Facilitate the development of work by the partner agencies to strengthen nutrition specific interventions within health care services delivery at Health facility and community levels
o Conducting regular supervision of the nutrition activities of the partner within health facilities and communities
o Identification of needs and the partner's demands for support
o The implementation of support measures offered to the partner
o Ensure that the partner achieves high quality outcomes in its nutrition specific interventions implementation with respect to the national protocol.
o Analysis and monitoring of the care of clients in the partner centres and proposals for improvement in this domain
o Offering and providing technical support to colleagues in the programme's health centres as well as in communities
o Working in collaboration with HF staff and community FHAGs, CHSs, village leaders and elders on the implementation, development and monitoring of the Nutrition programme
Objective 2: Participate in the training and skills development for the partners’ teams at HF/Community levels on nutrition specific and sensitive interventions
o Participate in the identification of the training needs of HF staff and community FHAGs, CHSs, village leaders and elders
o Planning joint training sessions in the areas identified
o Facilitating the organisation and execution of training programmes
Objective 3: Supporting the management of partner activities at HFs and community levels
- Participate in the implementation of HFs level supervisions and analysis
o Monitoring the programme targets and participating in timely course-corrections and necessary adjustments
o Reporting on programme activities, in timely manner, by ensuring the provision of programme indicators and programme progress feedback to HFs.
o Conducting on the Job training for health facilities staff on Nut and follow up of activities on HFs and community level

Skills & Qualifications
Educational / Professional Background :
- Graduated from recognized Medical university with Medical degree
Required Competences & Skills :
- At least 2 years’ experience in the field of health and nutrition.
- Previous experiences working in TFU/OTP will be an asset
- Organization skills are necessary.
- Ability to manage staff according to local culture
- Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel
- Fluent in English, Dari and/or Pashto
