Job Summary:

A Civil Engineer is involved with the design, development and construction of projects and writing proposal needed. They report directly to MGC director. Their role is to ensure the safe, timely and well-resourced completion of projects, including, site survey, building construction, Road construction, and geotechnical engineering. They work in a number of different settings and, with experience, can run projects as project manager. The Civil Engineer works on the design, development and construction of multiple ongoing projects. This individual will work with clients to plan, manage, design and supervise construction projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Proposal writing

Construction Project estimation

Construction Project schedualing (Primavera or MS Project)

Undertaking technical and feasibility studies and site investigations

Analyze of survey reports, maps and drawings

Developing detailed designs and shop drawings

Technical Decomentation

Assisting and managing the potential risks of specific projects

Assisting on preparing of projects invoices.

Construction Project reporting

Managing, supervising and visiting contractors on site

Compiling, checking and approving reports and drawings

Using design software for structural analysis

Attending biddings meetings

Attending public meetings and displays to discuss projects

Implementing all relevant regulatory requirements

Correcting project deficiencies
Note: Responsibilities are not limited to the above mentioned duties, it may be varying based on company situation.

Job Requirement:

Education: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
Experience: Three years of experience in the field of Civil engineering, related to vertical building BS in construction and renovations is required.
Knowledge: Must have knowledge of design and construction practices and civil engineering international and local codes and specifications. Knowledge of civil design calculations and criteria.
Certifications or license preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills a must.
AutoCAD and other civil software
Bachelor’s Degree, Engineering
Thinking creatively and logically to resolve design, and development problems
