Entry level Operations Position reporting directly to the Project Manager, performing duties and responsibilities related to Project Management Services in support of current US Military operations in the Afghanistan Area of Operations (AOR). Performs day-to-day administrative duties, provides administrative support to the Project Management Team, performs specific operations related duties or projects as assigned by the Project Manager, assist in development and tracking of operational metrics and reports, supports subordinate functional areas as required and performs all duties as assigned by the Project Manager to support the mission. Duties may include: developing and submitting reports, office and administrative duties and performing supervisory duties as assigned.
Additional requirements may include: assisting in the development of work methods, procedures for personal property, personnel, unit, material movements and equipment preparation, packaging and processing of cargo for shipment.
Perform analysis of contractual data and advise the Project Management Team of capabilities required to meet mission needs.
Participate in technological developments, i.e. equipment, facilities, safety. Conduct studies, analyzes problems and programs and proposes solutions.
This is a customer service position that requires a courteous attitude and high degree of poise and professionalism interacting with a variety of nationalities and cultures. Work is performed in a fast paced environment with service provided to a multi-national, multi-agency government customer base.
