Job Summary:

The Operational Security Manager is the understudy of the Program Security Manager and is responsible for enforcing security and risk management standards across all ANHAM in country operations; supervising all security related activities to include the manned guarding service provider (Force Protection), PSD/Transport Coordinator, Operations Officers, CCTV and Radio Operators.
The appointment demands an individual to have excellent English reading and writing skills, with a proven track record in Security Risk Management and demonstrable skills and experience within the military/law enforcement and commercial security sector. A highly skilled and articulate verbal and written communicator, the Operational Security Manager must be capable of deputising for the Program Security Manager when necessary.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Reports direct to Program Security Manager on a daily basis.
• Line Management and supervision of the PSD/Transport Coordinator,Operations Officers, CCTV and Radio Operators as well as the manned guard service provider.
• Passage of security related information to Program Security Manger and employees
• Maintain close liaison with military, law enforcement and government agencies
• Compile reports and drive ANHAM policy, procedures and processes as dictated by ANHAM Corporate
• Compile a daily ANHAM specific Situation Report (SitRep) based upon information collated over a 24 hour period relevant to ANHAMs area of operations
• Compile a weekly report of security related incidents
• Assist with the coordination of security awareness training for all employees and new arrivals as part of an induction process
• Raise employee awareness in response to emergency procedures in coordination and cooperation of the security team
• Assist with the development and consequent implementation of all security related plans to include journey management, evacuation, emergency response and casualty evacuation plans
• Provide the supervisory management of the incumbent outsourced security service providers
• Attends weekly security meetings with security management team (HNT and Operational Security)
• Attends all relevant external security meetings as directed by the Program Security Manager
• Responsible for providing supervision of all security operations
• Enforce all ANHAM management approved security policy, procedures and processesunder the direction of the Program Security Manager
• Supervise the Local National personnel to include all outsourced service providers within the Security Department.
• Conduct physical security assessments periodically as directed by the Program Security Manager to ensure integrity of company depots and make the necessary recommendations for

Job Requirement:

• Afghan patriot from overseas who wishes to return. Ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing
• Commercial and/or Military/Law Enforcement experience
• 5 years direct experience in a multi-tasking leadership role in security business area
• 5 year’s experience in security operations conducted in hostile environment
• Ability to develop and implement programs documents , reports and risk assessments
• Strong knowledge and understanding of security emergency response procedures
• Ability to effectively and professional understand and manage potentially dangerous conditions and sensitive issues
• Strong leadership skills to provide direction to subordinates and security personnel
• Must be familiar with communication systems ( VHF, HF, Tapestry, Satellite )
• Must demonstrate excellent computer skills and ability to use Word and Excel software
