The Operations Officers will be responsible for the day-to-day running of security and will be based within the Security Operations Centre working an eight hour shift system. They will supervise and monitor all security related activities to include the manned guards, PSD movements, CCTV and Radio Operators. The appointment demands an individual to have good English reading and writing skills, with a proven track record within a commercial security operational environment.
• Reports direct tothe Program Security Manager (in the absence of the Operational Security Manager function)on a daily basis.
• Supervision and monitoring of the PSD movements, CCTV and Radio Operators as well as the manned guards.
• Passage of security related information to Program Security Manger and employees under the direction of the Program Security Manager
• Compile a daily ANHAM specific Situation Report (SitRep) based upon information collated over a 24 hour period relevant to ANHAMs area of operations
• Record details of all ANHAM security related incidents in the Daily Occurrence Book
• Provides security briefings to new employees in the absence of the Program Security Manager.
• Collates intelligence in order to assist the Program Security Manager with a threat level determination at various company areas or operation.
• Interpret verbal and written information as required for the Program Security Manager.
• Any other tasks as directed by the Program Security Manager.
Supervision:
• Position is supervised by ANHAM Program Security Manager and Operational Security Manager.
• CCTV and Radio Operators as well as the manned guards on a day-to-day basis
• Ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing
• Commercial and/or Military/Law Enforcement experience
• 3 years direct experience in a supervisory capacity within a private/commercial security company
• 3years’ experience in security operations conducted in hostile environment
• Strong knowledge and understanding of security emergency response procedures
• Must be familiar with communication systems ( VHF, HF, Tapestry, Satellite )
• Must demonstrate excellent computer skills and ability to use Word and Excel software
