Job Summary

The Translator/Interpreter will be responsible for all program translation and interpretation.

Duties & Responsibilities

Specific Duties
• Translate all documents from English into Pashto and Pashto to English.
• Respond the Pashto-English translation and vice versa needs of all departments
• Edit and proofread the translated documents
• Provide the word-processing support in Pashto and English translation
• Work as an interpreter of Pashto-English when necessary
• Transcribe and translate scripts from audio and text.
• Any other relevant task assigned by the Supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Fluency in oral and written Pashto and English languages
• Strong communications skills
• Computer Word-processing, and any other designing skills
• Able to work under pressure and meet the tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and social skills
• Editing and Writing Skills primary in Pashto language
