Job Summary

To establish well coordination with PPHD and HFs particularly in supply of medicine, Responsible for planning, implementation, supervision and monitoring of the pharmaceutical activities of BRAC health project.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and complete filing systems for all procurement activities to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Responsible for quality check and control of essential drugs, medical consumables and equipment purchased (having quality control, COPP and GMP certificates)
  • To check and finalize the prepared drug orders by provincial officers; take part in drug review and purchasing committees.
  • Coordinate with logistics units in relation to the reception and delivery of goods, ensuring BRAC’s procurement and logistical rules and regulations are applied.
  • To check and control the quality and quantity of all procured medicine and medical equipment according to the given specifications and samples, before transferring. 
  • Ensure safe, clean and proper storage of all medicine and other medical equipment within the provincial stock and HFs stocks. 
  • Monitors the HMIS activities in the project catchment areas.
  • Representing BRAC all coordination meetings related to pharmaceuticals, conducting by MoPH and other stakeholders, in provincial level.

  •  Any other tasks and responsibilities as required for the implementation of the project and requested by direct supervisor and/or main office authorities.

• Computer skills (MS-office in must).

• Fluent in Dari, Pashto and English Languages.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to travel extensively within all districts.

• Excellent time management skill.
