Job Summary:
Assist with preparation of MoMP Work Plan in line with the strategic documents of the ministry such as, NPP, Business Plan, National Minerals Policy, National Hydrocarbons Policy and ASM Strategy and more,
Duties & Responsibilities:
Review and analyze MoMP policies, National Priority Program, Business Plan (NPP) and strategies,
Assist with preparation of MoMP Work Plan in line with the strategic documents of the ministry such as, NPP, Business Plan, National Minerals Policy, National Hydrocarbons Policy and ASM Strategy and more,
Assist with the preparation and implementation of the MoMP Anti-Corruption Plan
Assist with the preparation and implementation of the MoMP Artisanal and Small Scale Formalization Strategy Implementation Plan
Make sure MoMP budgeting is made based on the Policies of the ministry
Assist with conduct training on planning and reporting to MoMP staff
Develop and conduct training on planning and reporting to MoMP staff
Translate MoMP annual Work Plan and Reports into English and publish them on MoMP website,
Accomplish any other tasks assigned by the incumbent’s supervisor
Job Requirement:
At least Bachelor Master’s degree is preferred in Public Administration, Business Administration, Development or Law is required with at least three (5) years of working experience with both Afghanistan Government (MoMP) and Donor Project or International Organization in the related field is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Development or Law with at least five (5) years of working experience with both Afghanistan Government (MoMP) and Donor Project or International Organization in the related field is required.
The Incumbent should have sound knowledge of the extractive sector
The Incumbent should have strong written and oral communication and other interpersonal skills
The incumbent should be able to work with MoMP officials, e.g. H. E. Minister, Deputy Ministers, and Directors in a professional manner
The incumbent should be able to represent MoMP in intra-government and non-government meetings, conferences …etc.
The incumbent should have sound presentation skills and ability to present to a large group of audience, national and international,
The incumbent should be able to manage and work in working groups
The incumbent should be able to write reports, briefing paper, correspondence, and research paper as required
The incumbent should be fluent in speaking, reading and writing in English.
