Job Summary

ADALAT’s Pre-Stage STTA will provide technical assistance to the Afghanistan Women Judges Association (AWJA) in preparing pre-Stage exam training materials. ADALAT anticipates that the STTA will collect the questions included in previous Judicial Stage exams and work closely with AWJA and ADALAT to develop the training materials and PowerPoint presentation.

Duties & Responsibilities

Work closely with ADALAT’s judicial team and AWJA to collect Stage exam questions and prepare PowerPoint presentation.

Collect and prepare answers and explanation to each Stage question.

Work closely with ADALAT and AWJA to develop the pre-stage PowerPoint preparation course training materials.

Participate in meetings for the relevant activity as required.

Complete training material for pre-stage preparation course for the use by AWJA instructors.

Preparation of PowerPoint presentation on the Judicial Stage exam questions.

Job Requirements

5+ years of experience in developing legal training materials

Bachelor’s degree in law or sharia law.

Prior experience working as judge, prosecutor or defense lawyer is preferred

Experience with Afghanistan judicial system, education and training programs desirable

Ability to use computer programs (MS Office) and access to internet is desirable.
